. Annuity Calculator

The annuity calculator allows you to find an unknown field value (except for the annual interest rate) if all other fields are populated correctly.

To use the annuity calculator, complete the fields as per these rules:

  • Present Value (PV): If you'd like to calculate FV then set this field to 0.
  • Future Value (FV): If you'd like to calculate PV then set this field to 0.
  • Annual interest (%): This field must have a value greater than 0.
  • Number of years (N): This field cannot have values < 0.
  • Periods per year (p): This field cannot have values < 0.
  • Monthly payment (PMT): This field cannot have values < 0.

When the fields are populated as desired, press the unknown field's associated button to find its value.

This does not hold true for the Annual interest (%) field. Should you wish to determine an annual interest rate that fulfills your investment requirements, you will need to perform a trial and error process to find it. This involves populating all 6 fields with proper values and adjusting the value in the Annual interest (%) field as required.
